The Panasonic PT-AE1000U 1080p LCD projectors are full-HD compatible
home cinema projectors featuring 1080p LCD projector panels. Extensive
research and development was conducted on the optical system, image
processing engine, and other major components to bring high-resolution,
full-HD images into the home for full and easy enjoyment. The
development team collaborated with leading Hollywood colorists to
further increase imaging precision through the "Hollywood tuning"
process. The result is a full high definition home theater projector
that packs comprehensive Panasonic technologies into a compact, stylish
cabinet.The AE1000U 1080p projector offers a host of image
optimizing features including a Dynamic Iris optical system. The
Dynamic Iris helps provide the deeper, richer blacks you need for
true-to-life images. This system works by analyzing histograms to
determine the brightness level of each image, then adjusting the lamp
power, iris and gamma curve accordingly to create the ideal image.
You will find this product at

The PT-AE1000U gives home consumers a 16:9 projector with the kind
of waveform monitor used in equipment for professionals. This function
displays waveforms to show how the Panasonic projector has adjusted the
images of the input signals sent from the source device.
The remote control can memorize the functions of up to eight home
theater components (both Panasonic products and products from other
manufacturers) so you can control an entire home theater system with a
single remote.
